Hi, I’m Kyla

I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, and currently a doctoral candidate in Chinese medicine.

I found this medicine through my own healing process and fell in love with its artful approach and profound efficacy. After a few years of self-study and receiving my own treatments, I enrolled in school to turn my personal passion into a lifelong practice. I received my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science. In my final year, I completed a clinical externship at The Yinova Center, a nationally recognized acupuncture clinic specializing in fertility and women’s health.

Before starting school, I had a small flower business called Tiny Feelings, where I created floral designs and hand-delivered them throughout the city. My experience working with flowers greatly influenced my love for Chinese herbal medicine, which allows me to share not only the beauty, but also the powerful healing that the earth provides for us.

My intentional approach with patients comes from a deeply rooted desire for how I wished to be treated when I was seeking care myself. After going through a period of major health events - including an emergency spinal surgery and a Stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis, all within a year’s time - I learned an enormous amount about being believed and advocating for your own health. My hope is that our work together provides you with the attentive, compassionate care you deserve. This medicine has influenced my life for over 10 years, and I feel very grateful to be on this path alongside you.
